Hyundai launches an augmented reality owner’s manual app

Why hassle with a pesky owners manual? That's exactly what Hyundai thought when they first created their new augmented reality app called the Virtual Guide. A modern take on the traditional owner’s manual, Hyundai will allow consumers to use their smartphone or tablet computer to access how-to information for repairs, maintenance and vehicle features. 

"The Virtual Guide is aimed at educating our owners on how to use the functions and features of their vehicle," said Frank Ferrara, executive vice president, customer satisfaction, Hyundai Motor America.
