MSN Autos recently published a list of its choices for the 10 best cars under $20,000, and Kia was the only brand to be featured twice. The Kia Soul and the Forte Koup were both chosen to represent the South Korean automaker for their improved fuel economy and design.

"MSN Autos selection of Soul and Forte Koup for the '10 Great Cars for Less Than $20,000' list reflects the value Kia vehicles provide consumers with a host of standard technology, safety, and convenience features," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing & communications, Kia Motors America (KMA). "Kia's technology-laden, fun-to-drive, uniquely-styled vehicles continue to attract new customers to the Kia brand, as evidenced by 15 consecutive months of sales records."

The Soul, which has the lowest starting price for any vehicle in its class ($13,900), was chosen for its 35 mile-per-gallon fuel economy as well as a number of new technology features that were added for the new model year.

Drivers who want to improve the fuel economy of their current vehicles can do so by getting regular maintenance to make sure their vehicles are running efficiently. An extended warranty can cover the costs so motorists have one less thing to worry about.
