New report highlights best and worst drivers by state

A new report by CarInsuranceComparison.com evaluated all 50 states on things like drunk driving, fatalities, traffic tickets and failure to obey signals to find out which states had the worst drivers and which had the best. There were a number of different categories, and in many cases states scored very badly in one or two categories, but did well in others. For example, Wyoming was found to be the sixteenth more dangerous state to drive in, even though it was ranked number one for drunk driving incidents and fell into the top ten for driving fatalities.

It turns out that Louisiana was ranked the worst state in the nation for driving because it was in the bottom ten in every category, excluding failure to obey signals.

On the other hand, Rhode Island was found to be the safest state in the whole country for drivers, and Massachusetts had the lowest rate of fatalities due to car accidents.

Regardless of where you live, safe driving is always a good idea, as it will lower the risk of a crash. However, accidents can happen, which is why it can be wise to invest in an extended warranty that can cover the cost of repairs.
